Experience

Costa Coffee Baristabot

Engineer Intern | Engineering Contractor

May 2023 - May 2024Austin, TX

Developed recipe guidelines for coffee machinery: translated drink quality to variables that the machine can interpret. Created calibration procedures for various sensors: understanding sensor behavior and translating to meaningful values. Designed and integrated components to improve the accuracy of sensors, including creating work guides. Later I transitioned to redesigning cup-interface components to accommodate a new cup design for global markets.

CU Boulder Racing Team - Formula SAE

Chassis Engineer

August 2020 - May 2023,  Boulder, CO

As a member of the chassis subteam, I work to conceptualize, design, and manufacture components of our team’s Formula SAE race car. We utilize Solidworks to design and test parts using FEA for static simulations.

Ford Motor Company - Research and Advanced Engineering

Intern - Advanced Polymer Technology

May 2022 - August 2022,  Remote

Managed several project teams focused on additive manufacturing. I created verification and validation plans for each of the projects to ensure their viability within vehicle systems. Developed an invention disclosure for a novel application of our design. Gained valuable skills in professional communication as well as project leadership and documentation.

nuTonomy - Aptiv

Design Intern

August 2019 - May 2020,  Singapore

Developed a remote robotic testing system for autonomous vehicles. Engineered a mechanism for all-wheel power and steering in a condensed form factor which was brought through design presentations at both peer and superior levels to ensure mechanical feasibility. Maintained strict sizing limitations for the overall device and created a bill of materials to stay on budget.

First Robotics Competition Team 4817

Captain

August 2018 - May 2020,  Singapore

Held a leadership position on the high school Robotics team to help teach my peers skills related to manufacturing, design, and collaboration. In our 2018/19 season, the team received recognition for Engineering Inspiration which brought us to compete in the world competition in Detroit. Part of our team’s structure included strict management of material and part acquisition through the use of a purchase request system that was implemented by the leadership team.
